Privacy policy
JEAE (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”) establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).
- Article 1 (Personal Information)
- “Personal Information” refers to “personal information” as defined by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, and means information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained in such information. - To identify and refuse access by users attempting to use the Service for fraudulent or improper purposes
- For purposes incidental to the above
- Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)

- Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

- Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
- When the Project receives a request from a user to disclose their personal information, the Project will disclose it without delay. However, all or part of the information may not be disclosed if disclosure falls under any of the following:
- Risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
- Risk of significant interference with the proper operation of the Project’s business
- Violation of laws or regulations
- Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
- If a user’s personal information held by the Project is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion of such information (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Project.
- If the Project determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request, it shall make the correction, etc. to the relevant personal information without delay.
- The Project shall notify the user without delay when it has made such correction, etc., or when it has decided not to make such correction, etc.
- Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
- If a user requests suspension or deletion of personal information (hereinafter referred to as “suspension, etc.”) on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of its intended purpose, or that it was obtained by improper means, the Project shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
- Based on the results of the investigation, if the Project determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, it shall suspend or delete the relevant personal information without delay.
- The Project shall notify the user without delay when it has carried out such suspension, etc., or when it has decided not to carry out such suspension, etc.
- Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension, etc. involves excessive costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, the Project shall take such alternative measures.
- Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
- The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except as otherwise provided by laws or this Policy.
- Unless otherwise specified, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect when posted on this website.
