Past Events
Party Attendants at Happo-en
We welcomed international guests at the venue entrance and reception rooms, dressed in elegant furisode and geisha-style attire.
Throughout the event, we were in high demand for commemorative photos, posing with traditional wagasa umbrellas and lanterns—creating memorable moments to celebrate their visit to Japan.
Japanese Cultural Experience for Overseas High School Students (60 minutes)
A group of 14 high school students from Dubai joined us for a cultural study tour experience.
They enjoyed a local specialty lunch of Fukagawa-meshi, along with a traditional Japanese dance performance and Tōsenkyō (a classic fan-tossing game), offering both enjoyment and cultural insight.
Stage Performance at Happo-en
We performed at a celebration party hosted by an international company.
As many guests were visiting Japan for the first time, we received numerous questions after the performance and enjoyed engaging conversations about kimono and traditional dance.
The experience continued with photo opportunities and a warm send-off, creating a memorable and enjoyable cultural exchange.
Japanese Cultural Experience for 100 International Students (4 hours)
A group of 100 international students enjoyed a comprehensive cultural program including yukata dressing, traditional Japanese hairstyling, a Bon Odori dance experience, and a stroll through Asakusa.
During waiting times for dressing, we offered a traditional Japanese dance performance, adding further cultural depth.
Guests were delighted to experience authentic Japanese culture alongside kimono rental, and the samurai sword performance workshop (tate) was especially lively and enga0ging.
Tea Ceremony Experience (30 minutes)
Even young children came to understand the spirit of wa—showing consideration for those around them.
As it was Tanabata, the parents also wrote their wishes on tanzaku (wish strips).
We were deeply moved to see that, across cultures, people share the same heartfelt wish for their family’s happiness.
Ikebana Performance at Hotel New Otani
We were invited to present a 20-minute ikebana performance on stage at a celebration party.
Beginning with a formal bow, the arrangement gradually took shape as a large-scale floral work created in kimono.
Guests watched with great interest, appreciating the elegance and artistry of this traditional Japanese practice.
Ozashiki Experience: Lunch Course (45 minutes)
We enjoyed lively conversations with guests from Ethiopia, sharing perspectives on culture, beliefs, customs, and cuisine.
Through this exchange, we gained a deeper understanding of each other’s countries—and even felt as though we had become close friends.
It was a truly memorable experience that captured the essence of cultural exchange.
On-site Japanese Cultural Experience for International Students (4 hours)
To further enhance the experience, we increased the number of dressing staff, allowing more time for cultural activities and guided walks.
We also introduced live shamisen music alongside a traditional Japanese dance performance, adding greater depth to the program.
It was especially memorable to see Japanese students take pride in rediscovering their own culture.
