Check Point 1
After getting off the train, head toward Exit 1.
Follow the station signs, and once you pass through the ticket gates, proceed to the left.
Check Point 2
When you reach the top of the stairs and arrive at the exit, you will see signs for ‘Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.’
Please head to the left.
Check Point 3
At the first pedestrian crossing (no traffic light), you will see ‘Ramen Butayama’ as a landmark.
Continue straight.
Check Point 4
At the second pedestrian crossing (with traffic lights), you will see ‘Kusuri no Higuchi’ (drugstore).
Continue straight here as well.
Check Point 5
You will soon see ‘Kagetsuen’ ahead (sometimes covered with ivy depending on the season).
On your left, you will also see the large torii gate of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.
Check Point 6
For now, do not pass through the torii gate—please enter the road to the right of the gate.
If you wish, feel free to offer a quick greeting at the shrine.

You’re almost there.

You have arrived.
The exterior may vary slightly by season, but it will look like this.

You will see a sign for ‘Fukagawa Odori.’
The intercom is located to the right of the entrance.

If you are using the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, we recommend boarding the first car for convenient access to Exit 1 at Monzen-nakacho Station.
If you are arriving by car or other means, please use Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine as your destination landmark.
